Utility-independent living: what does freedom mean at home?
A home built around its own systems
A utility-independent home relies on its own energy and water supply. At Nestaro, the architecture, structure and systems that support everyday life have been part of one concept from the outset. The aim is comfortable living with greater independence from infrastructure.
Your own energy. Everyday comfort.
Nestaro operates with its own energy generation and battery storage. Its systems serve household energy needs, heating, cooling and hot water. The approved sales configuration produces more energy than it uses. We check the specific configuration and site conditions for each project.
Water supply is part of the home, too
Nestaro collects, stores, treats and purifies rainwater. This forms the basis of its own water supply. During a personal consultation, we review the site and household needs so that the project can be planned around them.
Where can a utility-independent home be built?
Utility independence does not mean that the house can automatically be built on any plot. We assess site suitability and project requirements individually. Whether you already own a plot or are still looking for the right location, a consultation is a useful first step.
Who values this independence?
People planning their home for the long term who value less dependence on infrastructure. Nestaro can be considered as a complete family home, a home for remote working or a premium second home. The right choice depends on your lifestyle and the location.
